NaPoWriMo 2012 - 30 Poems in 30 Days - Day 16
Here we are on this beautiful Monday morning gearing up for another week of poetry! I'm feeling refreshed and ready to continue this poetic ride! I've decided to challenge myself by doing more of the poetry prompts, so today's directive is to write a poem using an image for inspiration. There were three pictures posted on the NaPoWriMo site and the one I've chosen is posted above. Please enjoy:
Wind Surfer
Loaded
Heavy
Wandering sometimes aimlessly
Light
Rocking to and fro
Filled with revelers
Loners
Slackers
The wealthy
Poor in spirit
I'm sinking
Rising
Lifted
Sun-soaked
Restrained
I'm alive most
Elevated on sea foam
Sun on my sail
Floating
Roaming
Speeding
Free

You make a difficult art look so easy, I can never write anything so lovely, when it has to be according to a theme.
