We are finally close to Christmas and the end of 2013 and my goodness what a year it has been! I have much to be thankful for and even though I lost my natural mother, a few friendships and a piece of my soul, I gained a great deal as well. I will long be processing the events that have taken place this year, but I am praying for a way to process and produce. My existence continues so that means my goals need watering and fertilizing, my relationships demand my attention and my art can not exist on day dreams alone. I have been battered a bit, but it's time to get back to being me and I shall!
I know I talked about a new blog format this year but that was not to be, but hey, there is always next year and I will work harder to make Lyric Fire bigger and better than ever. My novel still has legs and will be getting to market soon. I feel it. I am still breathing and as long as I am, I will be a creative. Being in this world means sometimes things don't always go as planned, but every day we rise we have another opportunity to do something that we didn't or couldn't accomplish the day before.
So with that, I wish you all a wonderful Christmas or whatever you choose to call this festive time of year. I am a believer and I like to focus on God's blessings, the lessons I've learned and how I can serve better in this magnificent world that he created for us. The season may mean something different for you, so if it does, I pray that you are happy in your now and will be continuously blessed in the future.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read Lyric Fire this year. You and your thoughts on what I share are so appreciated.
Have a wonderful and safe holiday season. May all of your dreams you dare to dream burst up like buds from a flower and grow into gorgeous petals and grace the world with their truth!
Bring it on 2014! We await your challenges and long for your blessings!
Merry Christmas from Lyric Fire!
Hello my blogging sister. Thanks so much for dropping by. We often share similar life views, so your comment doesn't surprise me. :-)
I will keep you in my prayers for 2014 and beyond. I pray we attract all the positive opportunities our hands, hearts and souls can carry. Bless you my friend!

I've been absent from blogging for a good, long stretch and am still wrestling with finding a new rhythm! I've also gone through my own 2013 review, similar to yours here, and I see that we are both in a similar pragmatic state of mind. Reviews are handy for seeing what did and didn't work, and for doing a whole boatload of releasing, yes? I'm writing this on a sunny and unseasonably warm day here in East TN, and I am curious about what 2014 will usher in for each of us. I am honestly not clear or sure of where I am headed, and that's a bit unusual for me. I'm standing on new ground with all of that! I hope that 2014 blesses you abundantly, chickadee! :)
